Non-Missouri public institutions of higher education seeking authorization to offer distance education to Missouri residents must be accredited by a recognized regional body and adhere to the Coordinating Board for Higher Education’s Best Practices for Distance Education guidelines. Non-Missouri, non-public institutions are not required to be accredited.
