Molly Hall-Martin (Kul Wicasa Oyate/Lower Brule Sioux) joined SHEEO in May 2020. She serves as the 2020 summer intern. In this role, she focuses on issues related to Native American higher education policy and assists with the Research Center’s research summaries and the analysis of the State Authorization Capacity Survey. Before joining SHEEO, she served as policy research intern at the Institute for Higher Education Policy and the director of student preparation & success for the South Dakota Board of Regents. She holds a B.A. in American Indian studies from the University of North Carolina, an M.Ed. in adult & higher education from the University of Oklahoma, and is currently a doctoral student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program at the University of Iowa. Outside of her work, Molly enjoys cooking, running, and training for half and full marathons.
